I was born there so it startled me to see someone mention what had happened there yesterday.

I can tell already where they’re heading with this.. he was “harassed”.. that’s why he did it. Fuck that! As a child and teenager I was ridiculed and abused (physically and verbally) by schoolmates for being fat. That did not give me the fucking RIGHT to get a gun and go to school and kill everyone who’d ever said or done anything nasty to me! The problem with people in this fucking country is that they’re so god damned fragile if someone says something they don’t like they go off like a fucking loon or sue someone. They need to fucking toughen up.

Being a supposed victim does not give you the fucking right to destroy other peoples lives.

Anyway, the last time I was at Ft. Hood was around 11 or 12 years ago. My aunt and cousin and I went shopping and they decided to go over there since I hadn’t been there since.. well since I was born I guess. At the gate they asked my cousin for her license and asked what we wanted on the base. My aunt told him I was born there and they wanted to drive around so I could see what it looked like. He handed the license back to my cousin and grinned and waved us through. I was shocked at how large it was! The place is fucking huge!

My family will not be participating in the event. I have no desire to sit here in the fucking dark, with snow and ice outside, freezing my ass off. Why will we be freezing our asses off you ask. Because we live in an apartment complex that only has one control for switching from AC to heat. The fucking weather had been in the 80’s and we were all frying so they’d switched off the heat. Now we’re going to freeze. At least we have control of our thermostat.

That’s something I noticed yesterday. The One is already talking about “special” thermostats. Hypocrite. He can have the white house set to tropical but he wants everyone ELSE to watch how much energy they use.

All of those global warming, environmentalist wacko, nutjobs, can all go jump off of a short pier as far as I’m concerned…

I have a nephew who has participated in the Special Olympics. I’m very careful in how I speak about those with developmental disabilities or people with disabilities in general, my Husband has Cerebral Palsy.

I have seen people get offended by the use of the word retard. I have a different definition of the word than most people.I use the word when referring to a so-called “normal” person who is too fucking stupid to draw breath. Because in general it’s those sort who make fun of others who are handicapped.

As an example the person who is now our President who can’t even apologize HIMSELF for ridiculing a group of people who are defenseless. My God the man can’t open his mouth without inserting his foot if he doesn’t have a fucking teleprompter!

I was reading something online and these two people were going on about how they WANT socialized medicine here in the good old USA.

They’re diabetics.

I am a Diabetic. Actually a pre-diabetic but hell it’s all the same in the end.

They don’t seem to realize in their fantasy view of socialized medicine that someone loses. Of course they wouldn’t want to believe it but I’d be willing to bet that diabetics will be one group of losers. Along with the elderly.

They’ll limit the diabetic supplies you can get, yeah they’ll supposedly be free (I’m sure that’s what they’re thinking) but that won’t mean you get an unlimited supply dumbasses.

They’ll limit testing supplies.

You’ve got diabetics who test their blood glucose in the morning (fasting), and 1 and 2 hours after meals. Some even before bed. Some test after trying a certain food to see if it increases their BG levels. The government Doc is not going to let you have whatever the hell you want, guys. Be realistic. How many diabetics are there out here? They’d have to cover EVERYONE. So naturally you’ll be limited on what you can have. And you probably wouldn’t be able to have that nice BG monitor you have now. Probably have to be a generic version for everyone.

Then there are those of you who like being able to get your A1C test done when you want. That ain’t gonna happen. You’ll be limited on how many of those you can have done. You might not be able to visit a dietician, a podiatrist, dentist, or any other specialist you might need. It’s gonna be hard.

You are going to be limited.

Your choices are going to be taken away from you if you buy into this socialist healthcare crap. It’s too late for some of you. You bought into this bullshit and voted for The One.

Well good luck figuring out how to make 30 test strips a month work for you. Dumbasses!

I used to work for a man who owned a donut shop. He wasn’t wealthy rich. He’d saved and worked hard and he bought a business. He didn’t buy anything that he couldn’t pay cash for. If he couldn’t pay for it he didn’t buy it. (That’s a shocking concept for some I know.) He was raising his kids on his own. He bought the business for his kids. He no longer actually owns the business. I believe he passed it on to his kids.. but work with me here….

Now along comes the Glorious Leader. He lies and says he’s not going to raise taxes on people like this man. Oh they try to bullshit and we’re supposed to believe it but that’s what always happens. Because in their eyes this man is rich. He doesn’t have a huge staff and they’re not paid exorbitant wages but hey it pays the bills, right? Now his taxes are raised. What’s gonna happen? Think about it. He’ll try for awhile to cut costs where he can. He might even risk angering his customers by raising prices. But eventually someone is going to lose their job. Someone who is not rich.

Rich people own businesses. They employ the rest of us slobs. Now if their taxes are raised who is going to pay for it. It’s going to be their employees.

So tell me again how raising taxes on the rich is going to help the poor?

This is the face of greed a bus driver who bought an 800,000 dollar home and is whining about how she can’t pay her mortgage. She wants the Great Leader to end foreclosures.

I am supposed to feel sorry for this idiot? Oh hell no! I say we take up a collection and send her money for cardboard boxes. So she can move her greedy ass into a fucking apartment! I’m sure Obama and his idiot buddies want us to feel sorry for her. She was the victim of an evil lender. My ass! Did the lender tie her into a chair and force her to fucking sign on the dotted line? How about you take some fucking responsibility for yourself and admit you fucked up and do the responsible thing. OMG, I’m so angry I can’t see straight. Hell, I guess my husband and I should have gone ahead and bought a house a few years ago. Oh sure they wanted us to buy too much house. Like an idiot I went home and actually used the brain cells I had left and did the math and didn’t see how we could afford it.

Instead of allowing ourselves to be swept up in the excitement of the moment we were calm, methodical, and we used a word some of these morons have evidently never used or heard before in their lives…

The both of them ring all the time with phone calls for 4 different people. Wanting the money that they’re owed. I have no problem with them wanting their money. They should be getting it. But I do have a problem with people getting into debt and then leaving some poor slob (moi) holding the phone and having to deal with a mess they’ve created.

Well I don’t feel the need to pay for other kid’s insurance. (If they’re that bad off they can get government assistance anyway.) I figure by God if I and my Husband can do the right thing and insure our child why the hell can’t other parents do the right thing. Part of being a parent is giving up shit so your child doesn’t do without. We do it. What makes other parents so fucking special that they think the government should pay for their kids healthcare. Screw that and fuck them. I’m gonig to quit.

My husband worked at Hertz for nearly 10 years. They laid him off at the end of September after nearly two years of waiting for the ax to fall. It was pure torture for all of us. The waiting. Then there would be a meeting anounced and the tension would increase 100 fold in fear of finally hearing they’d been laid off.

Only to find out the meeting had been called to anounce that “they hadn’t made any decisions yet”. People were angry. Really angry. They decide to outsource to IBM and they would only take so many people out of a group of nearly 300. They do the dog and pony show. You know dressing up, interviewing, waiting. Then it was handled so badly that some, including my husband, didn’t know they were supposed to get a freaking e-mail if they’d been hired. They were waiting on a letter by fed-X.

I told my husband to be careful at work. Because for all we knew someone might have gotten fucking fed up and brought a gun to work. It was that bad.

Did I mention that while they were laying people off that Hertz (NW expressway in OKC) was installing a gym? With god only knows how many expensive exercise machines? Or that this past Christmas, after the lay-off, I drove by the office and they hadn’t put the Christmas decorations up. I guess they fired the poor fucker who knew where they were. They’ve been turning off lights to save money. I’m surprised the poor bastards who still work there can even see. God forbid the higher ups consider taking a pay cut or doing without all the perks they give themselves. Ford nearly destroyed Hertz… the new guys will finish the job.

If you rent a car from Hertz what you’re going to get right now is a dirty car and the service will suck.

If I were you I’d rent from Avis or Enterprise.

I don’t expect Hertz to be around in a year. They’re laying off more people as I type this.

They’ve cut their work force by 32% and they’re about to cut 4000 more jobs. By the time they get done the only employees will be in Park Ridge, New Jersey. But then again those are the only ones they really give a shit about.. themselves.

BTW, one of the guys running Hertz into the ground is on the board of Walgreens. I’m expecting it go down the toilet too having seen how he does things.

As for us my Husband got a job making a little less than he made at Hertz. We moved out of the hell-hole we were living in. We’re living in a quiet apartment complex now where we don’t hear kids screaming at all hours or hear gun shots all the time.

Yeah, it’s a little less money but you know what? I don’t give a shit. I’d do without to have him not come home looking like hell every day. Hertz screwed him over from the day he took the job. He’s happy now and his employers are happy with him.

The really funny thing about all of this is that my Husband kept getting cards from a company about his tenth anniversary gift. He called them and told them he’d been laid off. They said go ahead and pick something. We did. I told him to pick one of the more expensive things. Difficult to do since most of it was crap. About what I’d expect Hertz to do. But what the hell? He damned near made 10 years. They owe him something.. the bastards.

That’s what I’m for. Not the BDS based on lies and fantasies. But ODS based on facts. And God knows there will be plenty. Having actually vetted the Empty Suit President-to-be we know about his past and his associations. We know what to expect. Let them have their parties for now.

But let me say this. I don’t want to see any crap about Palin. I voted for her. She delivered the voters that she was supposed to.

The person that didn’t deliver was the Maverick himself. Being bi-partisan didn’t do squat for us. And his ability to deliver the independents? Feh, didn’t happen.

McCain failed. Palin didn’t.

Having said all of that, and planning to say a whole hell of a lot more in the future, I need to first clean up this blog and then spend a little time with my family. Especially my husband who is right now looking for a job.

God help the rest of the country because they’ll probably end up in the same damned boat soon.

I went off in the previous post because honestly I’m sick of it. I’m tired of people who will vote for Obama talking about what the government will do for them or what the government hasn’t done for them as the reasons they’ll vote for him.

And then for Obama to bring up that because we don’t believe it’s right to have our taxes raised and have the government passing out OUR money that we’re selfish just totally pissed me off. That implies that our side doesn’t give a shit about those less fortunate.

Which is utter bullshit because we (my husband and I) gave more to charity (when he had a job) than Obama’s running mate does and my husband made a hell of a lot less than Senator Biden.

My husband was laid off Sept 30th. He wasn’t happy going to apply for unemployment even though he qualifies for it. It gets under his skin. It makes him uncomfortable. He hates it. If it gets worse we might end up being eligible for freakin’ food stamps. We’ll go without before we do that.

My husband has Cerebral Palsy and he’s a hard worker. He has worked hard all of his life. All he wants is a stinking job. He doesn’t want to take someone else’s money.

He doesn’t want money given to him, he doesn’t want a hand out, he wants the opportunity to earn a living.

You won’t see him in an Obama infomercial because that’s not the type of person he is. He has trouble but he doesn’t look to someone else, or their money, to bail his ass out.

He wants to be able to donate to charity for those who have a real need. We believe in voluntary charity instead of forced charity.

Maybe we’re insane. Being in the situation we’re in right now we’re watching a man run for President who has many supporters who basically have their hands out greedily grasping for whatever he “the government” will give them. He’s promising shit he can’t deliver. He’s promised everything but unicorns and free donuts!

We’re not interested in unicorns and free donuts. We’re not fucking whining and we’re not going to let what’s happening in our lives change our basic core values. We won’t be jumping on the Obama government gravy train.

Saw something today that pissed me off no end. I can’t believe anyone would actually believe Obama and Biden care about the disadvantaged. If they do believe it they’re either blind or hopelessly deluded.

OBAMA’S OCT 1-15 SPENDING = $105,599,963.76 That’s more than $293,000 an hour.

Let’s say he actually DID want to do something for the disadvantaged:

He could have given 17,599 people $600.00 for food for a month
He could have given 52,799 people $200.00 for one office visit to the Doctor
He could have given 527 young people $20,000.00 for college
He could have paid for a years worth of utilities for 2,200 FAMILIES (400.00 a month allowed for utilities)
He could have bought 703 people a new car (15,000.00) so they could get back and forth to work

He could have done this with what he spent on 15 DAYS of spending on his campaign.

IMO, that is obscene and it is hypocritical in the extreme for him to talk about his concern for the disadvantaged.

Wait you say perhaps he and Biden donate to charity.

My husband and I donated more than Biden and our income is less than 1/4 of what he makes.

If you’re slow on the uptake it all comes down to this: the Democrats don’t want to donate out of their pockets they want to ram their hand in YOUR pocket and take YOUR money and give it to those they see fit. Instead of you making the decision to donate to charity.

My husband was laid off at the end of September.

He just did a phone interview with a company.

He was told they didn’t have anything right now because companies are waiting to make hiring decisions until after the election is over.

Catch that? They aren’t making hiring decisions until the FUCKING ELECTION IS OVER!

WHY is that?

Because companies know if Obama is elected that he’ll raise their taxes and make running a business a nightmare.

I seriously doubt that they FEAR McCain.

If Obama wins that also means they’ll start thinning out the herd for their businesses. Which means…

I have said recently that I was in New York at an ACORN convention in 1980.

Before I start I once again I want to say that the membership, the people who join, are not the same as the leadership of the organization. The members are lied to and manipulated so that they will
participate in the organizers political dog and pony shows.

They USE these people who most of the time are not highly educated and have been lied to all of their lives by people with the same motives as ACORN. Politics and power. The members were some of the
nicest people I’ve ever met.

Comparing the organizers to pond scum would be insulting to pond scum. The ones I met were rich white kids who lived off daddy’s money while they agitated for the overthrow of the government. Anyone who understood the concept of socialism knew what they were talking about. The members
not so much. Some of the organizers were blatant about it and one even called himself a communist.

Back to New York.. when the decision was made to go to New York the organizers decided to rent a bus to get the members to NY. Everyone would have to pay $150.00 per person for the trip. The
$150.00 was going towards the rental of the bus. Some members probably didn’t pay bills or would go without later in the month.

There were more than a few elderly AA women and men on this trip. What grieves my soul to this day is that most of them were struggling to survive every day yet the ACORN ghouls had no compunction
about having these people fork over the money for a damned trip. They care about the lower income
people my ASS!

Some of the elderly didn’t have air conditioning in their homes. Yet it was more important to those
supercilious little ACORN fucks that these people go to NY and march up and down the concrete and metal caverns in the heat in August so that they could use them as fucking political tools.

That’s all they are to those sons of bitches. They don’t give a rat’s ass about those people as long as
they vote for who and what ACORN approves.

By going on that trip it opened my eyes to the liars of the left and how they truly manipulate those who they claim to care about. When I think about three of those elderly AA women I cry. They were as
sweet as they could be but they were like lions in New York. These ladies were from Oklahoma they
weren’t too impressed when they saw we’d be marching past an array of porn shops.They were
protective of my cousins and myself that day.

They circled us and tightened their grips on their purses ready to attack anyone that got near us. Three white kids a foot taller than they were and they were going to protect us. What they didn’t know was that the three kids had decided they’d protect the ladies if it was needed.

Those ladies deserved better than they got from ACORN. IF ACORN was what it claimed to be then wouldn’t it have made more sense to have done something to make their lives easier on a personal level?

Instead of dragging them halfway across the country so ACORN could get a large crowd for PR purposes and their time in the televison spotlight?

I hate ACORN. I despise ACORN. I LOATHE ACORN.

Watching someone describe seeing an african american elderly lady being turned away from a caucus by two african american young males telling her basically if she wasn’t voting for Obama she should go home.

That pisses me off. That woman had the RIGHT to vote for whoever the fuck she wanted to vote for! Obama’s campaign used Chicago style political tactics and ACORN style tactics to disenfranchise that woman and by God he needs to be stopped! Not only for this lady but for everyone else who has ever been fucked over by “The One”. Including Hillary Clinton.

How dare he SMEAR McCain with the lie that we’re trying to disenfranchise voters when he’s a fucking expert at that himself? When his campaign registers Rip Van fuckingWinkle to vote? Or his friends at ACORN who are busy registering cemeteries full of dead people, comic book characters, the Dallas fucking Cowboys, and fucking Mickey Mouse?

True story.

We live in an apartment. It sucks. Totally. Recently we were watching a movie and heard a giant WOOOSH, our window blinds blew back and forth, and we heard crap falling. Turned out that the person who moved out upstairs neglected to make sure her washer connection wasn’t dripping. The ceiling over our washer/dryer caved in. Scared the crap out of us. It’s been almost 2 months now and no one has repaired the ceiling. So you can see what a joy it is to live here…

My husband was given a card for a realtor by a co-worker. This was a couple of years ago I believe. We thought about it awhile and decided to at least find out what would be involved in buying a house. We made an appointment and went to her office. We sat there, told her what she needed to know, what we were looking for and she started telling us what they could do.

I was gobsmaked. We were looking for something from 40 - 60 maybe 70 thousand. A fixer upper or a small starter home. There are only the three of us. We don’t need a huge fucking house. We have no debt, don’t use credit cards, no car payment, we live within our means. Our credit isn’t that great because, DUH… we don’t use credit cards.

She was talking 80, 90, 100, 125, 150 thousand dollar homes!

After managing to pick my jaw up off the floor I asked her if she was serious. That she thought we could get a 150 thousand loan for a house. She smiled brightly and said “Sure!”. I began to wonder if I’d stumbled into the damned Twilight Zone.

We let her finish her spiel and left. We talked about it and I thought it was ridiculous. The payment on the upper limit she was talking about would be over HALF of what my husband at that time was bringing in for a month. All of those Scot ancestors of mine were screaming their heads off! I’m the type of person who won’t pay $300 - $400 for a Kitchen Aid mixer when I can buy a $100 Sunbeam. I refused to even consider one of those Dyson monstrosities ($500 - up! OMFG!) when I could get a vacuum that works just as well or better for $100 including shipping btw. I waited 9 FREAKING years to buy a dining room table, paid cash, and decided to wait on buying chairs! I’m a CHEAPSKATE! Frugal… whatever. Anyway the Scots were screaming in my head… painting their faces blue… preparing for war. lol

My husband, bless his heart, hates this apartment as much or more so than I do. He’d really hoped we’d be able to do it. But even he thought it was too much.

And here we are 2 years out and he was laid off Tuesday and the housing mess has gone up in flames.

I’ve seen some really stupid shit said and one of the stupidest is that some in congress are trying to make you think people were FORCED to accept these loans to buy houses. BULLSHIT! What have I missed the news reports of people being struck DUMB?!?! They couldn’t say NO? Give me a fucking break!

I read one article somewhere, can’t remember where now unfortunately, where some idiot who made 14,000 a year bought a 400,000 house and was WHINING because he was going to lose his house! Hey buddy here’s a clue for you… your family should be ashamed of you! You should be renting or living in an apartment! Jesus Christ!

If you can’t afford to buy you should rent. Period. Damnit. End of discussion.

Another thing that irked me was the impression I got that we were supposed to go into debt for a house, die, and leave the remainder of debt to our son. Jesus, by then people may be living in cubes for all I know! He might not even want the damned thing! Or worse yet… let the bank have it back. What the hell? Pay payments for years to end up giving it back, saddling our son with debt, or losing it in another way. Screw THAT!

I sweated and listened to the long boring speeches so I figure I’m within my rights to refuse permission to anyone else to use this photo. lol

I wanted to say that it’s not the people who were duped into joining ACORN that are the problem. Honestly most of them would be unable to give you a definition of socialism if you asked them what it meant. It’s the organizers and the upper echelon of the organization that actively manipulate the rank and file members that are the problem.

I was not a member. Someone in my family was. When I recall how those people were manipulated and lied to I get so angry I can’t even write about it.
