The “I hope he fails” crap
by Techievampire on Mar.08, 2009, under Political Bullshit
Everyone is missing the god damned point from what I’ve seen around the big ole’ blogosphere..
Obama is already failing.
Watch the friggin stock market if you don’t believe me. They sure as hell don’t seem to think he’s a white knight come in on his fuckin horse. Everytime he or anyone within spitting distance of him opens their mouth the stock market goes down.
The Democrat buttheads are trying to distract everyone from seeing that he is an utter failure. They also don’t want anyone remembering that their team has been in control since 2006.
The man is a damned disaster as President and he’s barely gotten the goddamned seat warm in the oval office. Quit letting the Democrat’s control what we talk about.
Sheesh!
PM Brown’s gift even more thoughtless than I first believed
by Techievampire on Mar.07, 2009, under Political Bullshit
The man has vision problems. He may eventually go blind. See this story at American Thinker.
And he gave him DVDs.
Fighting my way back from my own vision problems I can’t believe how insensitive The One was. I don’t like the man but Christ I thought he at least had a FEW brains!
How hard would it have been to have a staff member call London to do some research on the man and his children?
Talk about a lack of class
by Techievampire on Mar.05, 2009, under Political Bullshit
The Brits are steaming over Brown’s visit to see The One. It didn’t go too well to say the least. Then this morning I read this article:
First Lady Michelle Obama shows even she has a gift for the gaffe
To make it short: Brown’s wife’s staff went to the trouble of finding out what sizes the Obama’s daughters were and choosing outfits for them and put together a selection of children’s books with British authors. Very nice.
What does Michelle do? She sent someone over to the gift shop and they gave the Brown boy’s two models of Marine One. Tacky. Very tacky. Cheap too.
On protocol the Obama’s are an epic fail.
The Brits. Gotta give em credit. They’re not above saying exactly what they think about it. I love the last paragraph. lol
Annoying phone calls from debt collectors
by Techievampire on Feb.20, 2009, under Political Bullshit, Rants
No. We’re not in debt. We’re out of debt. We do what we need to do even if it means living with less and doing the right thing and living up to what we promised to do.
But we have moved and our phone number changed. I also have a cell phone too.
The both of them ring all the time with phone calls for 4 different people. Wanting the money that they’re owed. I have no problem with them wanting their money. They should be getting it. But I do have a problem with people getting into debt and then leaving some poor slob (moi) holding the phone and having to deal with a mess they’ve created.
Sound familiar? Anyone? Anyone?!?
Home buyers who couldn’t afford what they bought?
Taxpayers who are going to be footing the bill for their stupidity?
ANYWAY…
At this point when I answer the phone I sound suspicious. I’m surprised I don’t frighten people when I answer the phone. I’m frustrated and angry. I spent a freakin HOUR on the phone dealing with one debt collector. BECAUSE OF SOMEONE ELSE!
Why do I have to clean up the burning bag of dog shit someone else left on my porch?
I’m looking at you Obama, Frank, Pelosi, etc.. etc.. etc.
Steyn nails McCain
by Techievampire on Nov.08, 2008, under Political Bullshit
“The greatest dangers to liberty,” wrote Justice Brandeis, “lurk in the insidious encroachment by men of zeal, well meaning but without understanding.”
Now who does that remind you of?
Ha! Trick question! Never mind Obama, it’s John McCain. He encroached on our liberties with the constitutional abomination of McCain-Feingold. Well-meaning but without understanding, he proposed that the federal government buy up all these junk mortgages so that people would be able to stay in “their” homes. And this is the “center-right” candidate? It’s hard for Republicans to hammer Obama as a socialist when their own party’s nationalizing the banks and its presidential nominee is denouncing the private sector for putting profits before patriotism. That’s why Joe the Plumber struck a chord: He briefly turned a one-and-a-half party election back into a two-party choice again.
If she did it… so can you
by Techievampire on Nov.04, 2008, under Political Bullshit

By God if she could risk physical injury or death to vote you have no excuse not to vote today!
DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED!
DO NOT LISTEN TO THE MEDIA!
DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY TODAY!
They’ve been in the tank for Obama since the beginning.. do you really think they’d be honest about exit polls?
If you live on the west coast your duty is to vote. Don’t listen to the medial. They will start calling states for Obama. Vote. Vote. Vote.
Remember past elections. They were wrong then and they’ll be wrong tonight.
Obama is going to save “the world”
by Techievampire on Nov.04, 2008, under Political Bullshit
This is the kind of comment that make some wonder if the Obama movement is a cult. Jesus. He did shit for Chicago but he’s going to save the world. Yeah, right!

If Obama wins

If Obama is elected and is a failure as a President will the media accept responsibility for having made it more difficult for future African Americans to be elected as President?
The media in their rush to get the first African American candidate for President elected have not done their jobs. He hasn’t been thoroughly vetted as can be seen by the information that is coming out now hours before the election.
If you ignore the lack of vetting there is no way you can ignore the fact that the media has forgotten one all important question that should be asked by anyone that is going to vote.
Is Obama qualified to to be President. Yes he can give pretty speeches and he gives his supporters a warm fuzzy but does he have actual leadership experience. Contrary to what Obama’s supporters or the media want you to believe those of us who are voting for McCain are not racists. Our reasons for not supporting him are numerous but the most important reason, at least for me, is that he doesn’t have enough leadership experience. I also believe that because the media haven’t done their jobs that they’ve created a situation that could endanger future African American’s chances to be elected President in the future.
I believe if Obama is elected and he is another Carter, or worse, we won’t see another African American elected President for a very long time. I would have no problem voting for a qualified African American for President. It makes me sad to think that somewhere out there in America is a young African American who someday would be a good candidate for the Presidency but due to the media’s lack of attention to the important questions about Obama he/she will be compared to Obama and some will fairly or unfairly vote against that candidate based on the past.

Your campaign is angry about the Jeremiah Wright ads.. well you sure didn’t mind having an endorsement from him up on your website.
From web archive From my.barackobama.com: I Endorse Barack which includes this endorsement:
Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr.
Senior Pastor, Trinity United Church of Christ, Chicago, IL
Senator Obama’s pastor
I’m concerned with healthcare; the war in Iraq; the high rates of recidivism in our criminal justice system; the poor condition of the Illinois public school system. Many of the resources that go to support programs such as for those living with HIV/AIDS are now being spent to fund the war. We have to communicate…I support Barack because of his incarnated faith – his faith made alive in the flesh. He reaches across all faith communities and even to those who have no faith at all. He is building a community where everyone has worth. That kind of faith is not easy to find in 2007 and a man like Barack is a rarity.

Despite the national media’s childlike fantasy that Illinois is something like Camelot—where the knights rise to power without staining their shining armor—we’re still neck deep in corruption and sleazy pay-to-play politics.
The Chicago Outfit, though wounded, still reaches out to friendly pols. The bipartisan Illinois Combine that runs things isn’t finished, though a Republican boss was indicted last week. The Democratic half of the Combine, Chicago’s Daley machine, is now poised to leverage the awesome power of the White House. And what the machine wants is control of the federal hammer in its backyard.

***UPDATE***
At least one state coal industry leader said he was shocked by comments Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama made earlier this year concerning his plan to aggressively charge polluters for carbon and greenhouse gas emissions.
Coal official calls Obama comments ‘unbelievable’
Needless to say they weren’t happy about it… read it to see what was said.
I was rather shocked myself. It’s a shocking example of stupidity on the part of a man who is running for President. He’s his own worst enemy and his big mouth is a blessing to those who are on the other side.
Damn.
The dumb is strong with Obama.
Obama 2012
by Techievampire on Nov.02, 2008, under Political Bullshit
…The lies told about him in the 2008 election were exposed as sheer bigotry. Far from being “soft on radical Islam,” President Obama was the first world leader to welcome Jewish refugees after Iran’s nuclear destruction of Israel’s major cities (his only caveat - a fair one - was the refusal to accept Zionist military officers and their families, in light of Israel’s excessive retaliation).

Because it tells you what the big wigs at the companies think about this election:
Debate Over
It is clear jobcreating Business leaders chose McCain over Obama largely because his policies are seen as progrowth, whereas Obama’s policies are viewed as redistributive and anti-growth.
Further down in the article:
CEO comments reflect McCain as the better of two less than ideal choices. One CEO said, “I’m not terribly excited about McCain being president, but I’m sure that Obama, if elected, will have a negative impact on business and the economy.” Another stated, “Obama has shown his inexperience in many of his ideas. Some of his planned programs would bankrupt the country within three years if implemented.”
Be sure and look at their chart. Asking which candidate they fear. Do I have to tell you which one it is?

Purge of skeptical reporters from Obama plane

PURGE: SKEPTICAL REPORTERS TOSSED OFF OBAMA PLANE

The Washington Times, which has covered the Barack Obama campaign from the start, was kicked off the Democrat’s campaign plane for the final 72 hours of the race.
The Obama campaign informed the newspaper Thursday evening of its decision, which came two days after the Times editorial page endorsed Senator John McCain over Mr. Obama. The Times editorial page runs completely independent of the news department.

Let’s take a look back at history and see how another Democrat handled an economic crisis:
Two UCLA economists say they have figured out why the Great Depression dragged on for almost 15 years, and they blame a suspect previously thought to be beyond reproach: President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
After scrutinizing Roosevelt’s record for four years, Harold L. Cole and Lee E. Ohanian conclude in a new study that New Deal policies signed into law 71 years ago thwarted economic recovery for seven long years.
FDR’s policies prolonged Depression by 7 years, UCLA economists calculate

John W. Courtney’s world collapsed at dinnertime on a Friday in July 2001. That’s when he learned from a television newscast that much of the $200,000 that he had saved from his construction job over a 30-year period was lost when his Chicago-area bank was shut down after pursuing a failed strategy of subprime loans.
Seven years later, the Vietnam War veteran has yet to recoup $85,000 of his uninsured losses from Superior Bank’s failure. And he watches in disbelief as one of the bank’s former top officials, billionaire hotel heiress Penny Pritzker, leads the record-breaking fundraising machine of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama.

So what if The One should actually lose next week? The brainwashed hysteria whipped up on his behalf is, to put it mildly, dangerous. The media proclaims daily that Obama has already won. He cannot lose. He is the Saviour of the Planet. McCain is a mumbling senile idiot. Palin is evil incarnate. The polls show an Obama landslide. So if the world should revolve backwards on its axis next Tuesday and people wake up and find he has lost, then either the election will have been stolen in the way we all know evil Republicans always steal elections – or the American public will be proved to be, as we all know they are, irredeemably racist. Accordingly, we are warned that there would then be riots on the streets.
