Bus driver with 800,000 dollar home whines
by Techievampire on Feb.25, 2009, under Bail-Outs, Rants, Socialism
This is the face of greed a bus driver who bought an 800,000 dollar home and is whining about how she can’t pay her mortgage. She wants the Great Leader to end foreclosures.
I am supposed to feel sorry for this idiot? Oh hell no! I say we take up a collection and send her money for cardboard boxes. So she can move her greedy ass into a fucking apartment! I’m sure Obama and his idiot buddies want us to feel sorry for her. She was the victim of an evil lender. My ass! Did the lender tie her into a chair and force her to fucking sign on the dotted line? Hell no! She admits they bought too much house!
How about you take some fucking responsibility for yourself and admit you fucked up and do the responsible thing. Move out of the house into something you CAN afford and not expect the rest of us poor bastards to pay for your fucking mistake! She’s an epic fail as a parent. Think of what she’s teaching her kids. “Go out and buy something you can’t pay for and if you whine and draw enough attention to yourself there will be some dumb fucker who will feel sorry for you and save your ass.”
OMG, I’m so angry I can’t see straight. Hell, I guess my husband and I should have gone ahead and bought a house a few years ago. Oh sure they wanted us to buy too much house. Like an idiot I went home and actually used the brain cells I had left and did the math and didn’t see how we could afford it.
Instead of allowing ourselves to be swept up in the excitement of the moment we were calm, methodical, and we used a word some of these morons have evidently never used or heard before in their lives…
WE SAID NO!
Some of these people deserve to live in a van down by the river! OMG! The fucking nerve!

She could have done what I did in ‘96 when the bank and the realtor tried talking me into buying more house than I could afford. I told them “No”. 13 years later I still have my house and even when I lost my job right after buying the house I still was able to get my payments made.

Yes, but that would require something a vast portion of our population seem to lack… common sense. lol

Hey, $3600.00 a month in mortgage payments over fifty years is entirely manageable if you’re going to work into your 80’s and can manage at least 6 figures of income that long, ps that’s highly unlikely for a bus driver. I just saw her story on CNN and I laughed my Canadian ass off; someone mentioned to me that it’s a much the banks fault as the home owners. I disagree; as an analogy, I can walk into any liquor store and buy enough sweet alcohol to kill myself several times over, the guy behind the counter knows it’s possible but I doubt he thinks I’m dumb enough to do to. Anyway, you’ve summed it up above pretty well, some people just don’t fuckin’ think. Good luck with your recession, thank god she’s the only irresponsible American home owner, you’d be really screwed if there were more. And remember if you’re an adult and you still need someone to hold your hand, ask that person to please lead you into traffic, you’re making the rest of us look bad.

That’s ridicules. Bus driver who owns $800,000 home! I have BA and I’m currently working on my MBA and I can only afford apartment that is less then $100,000 and here we have someone who barely speaks English but owns home that expensive?
Bit of advice: go to school, lean to manage you money and don’t ask American Citizens to help you with mortgage payments.

My wife and I are in the top 5% (if not higher) of income (we are blessed I won’t deny that) but despite that I couldn’t find a home I felt I could afford using traditional metrics in my area of California. I probably make a multiple of what this dumb ass made and still felt couldn’t justify an $800,000 mortgage. No damn wonder. You had absolute wastes of human like this bidding up homes to stupid levels. If she intended to work until she died and take 3 jobs then all the power to her but if she just couldn’t resist buying her dream home and expected the taxpayer to bail her out then screw her. I’m essentially paying taxes for people like her to have homes nicer than me. This is not just wealth redistribution but wealth inversion. So not only did she prevent me from buying a home someone in my income bracket from buying a home my income should buy but now she wants a bailout. And she says she’s not asking anyone specifically for money.Bullshit - she’s asking every American taxpayer for some money. I can’t believe how stupid people are. And some politicians are saying we need to work as a community to solve this problem. Here’s a little newsflash - don’t you dare accuse everyone of being equally complicit in this mess.

“. And remember if you’re an adult and you still need someone to hold your hand, ask that person to please lead you into traffic, you’re making the rest of us look bad.”
Whats her address again!?
I’ll do it myself!
Hell I will run her over in her own damn bus!
She was on the news today…people should not peeek on meeee!
I’m 25 and $175,000 in the hole for student loans, work full time to take care of my husband who had a stroke. The f****** hell if one cent of my money should go to her!
I thought being an adult was making your own bed and laying in it!
Silly me!

Sorry to tell you but if your living within your means you fucked up!!! This is the new american way, you get what you want not what you can afford. pay for what you can and let the rest of the taxpayers pay the rest. I just realized i have fucked off the past 20+ years in the military served in desert storm/shield OIF/OEF still cannot afford a 800K nor do I live in one but I’ll be damned I’m about to make some fucking payments on one with my tax dollars while a bus driver of all fucken people enjoys living in it. She should have been the bus driver that teen beat the shit out of. No fuckin sense…

The first part of this comment is for Jerry. Jerry I hope you are working on your MBA in a non-english speaking country. Your grasp of the language, spelling, sentence structure, grammar, etc leaves me wondering. If not then you are probably on track to becoming another one of those worthless MBA’s who helped steer the bankming industry into the ground, lost shitloads of money for AIG, destroyed the Big Three, shall I continue.
As for the bus driver with the 800k home. More power to her if she can buy that place. And if she can’t afford it a year later then she should be evicted. God didn’t cause this problem. A nation full of self-serving dumbasses, who have been convinced that they “deserve” everything they see on T.V. caused this problem. I have no sorrow or pity for them and am infuriated that the government will now be turning to folks like me to bail those people out.
Ever hear of a SIN tax? The basic idea is that people engage in certain behaviors, smoking for instance, that costs greater society money. OK I got it. So about 3 million jerkoffs bought homes they could not afford. Their bad judgement is costing overall society, ergo we should impose a SIN tax on their dumbasses. It’s only fair.
