From Fort Collins Colorado we have this. Seems that red and green lights are “too religious” and may “send a message to some members of the community that they and their traditions are not valued and not wanted”.

Hell, why don’t we ban Christmas altogether? No lights, no christmas carols, no christmas plays, no trees, no Santas, no angels, no nativities, no days out of school, no days off work, no christmas sales, no gift giving, nothin, nada, zip.

Does Dad really need another tie? Does anyone really want to receive the one fruitcake that’s been making the rounds since the beginning of time? Does anyone really enjoy getting together with their annoying relatives year after year for christmas dinner?

GOD FORBID anyone be offended!

Let’s ban the holiday that celebrates the birth of a man who simply wanted us to love one another, treat each other right, and love God.

Truly offensive! The gall of the man! How dare he teach that we should love one another! What a hate-monger!

In the spirit of the compassionately created upcoming non-holiday I will close by saying FUCK YOU and all of yours!

So does this mean that “white light” people see when they have near-death experiences is actually racist?
