The National Weather Service on Thursday recorded rainfall in Oklahoma City for the 16th straight day, two days longer than the previous record, set from May 29 to June 11 in 1937. Forecasters predicted the rain could continue for several more days.

Seems that Democrats on the county commission don’t like WIOD in Florida airing Limbaugh. So they no longer want the station to be the official channel for emergency information from Broward County during emergency situations.

Congrats guys.. once again you’ve proven that your side is so eaten up with dumbass over politics that you don’t give a rat’s ass about human beings.

Last night the phone rang and when I said hello a female voice fumbled around and started babbling in reply. I’m a nice person so I figured she had the wrong number and didn’t know what to say. I waited patiently until she got her mental bearings.

Sometimes I’m too nice…

My mouth dropped open in shock as she started telling me how I had stolen her man, that she had found this number in his pocket, and that I should “let him go”. Her voice rose and fell in volume as she spoke. She was drunk.

I was so shocked that I said that wasn’t so, that I was married… thinking that the sodden idiot would shut up realizing she had the wrong damned number.

I was wrong.

She warbled that I had stolen her man, that I was fucking her man, and that I was married to her man.

Wrong thing to say… to a child of divorce due to infidelity.

Anger flashed through me.

I interrupted her drunken diatribe to inform her that she should get a life of her own instead of destroying someone elses.

I then hung up on the drunken cow.

The moron had been so drunk that she obviously dialed the wrong damned number and proceeded to tell a fucking stranger her life story. Richard and I laughed about it later. I told him I could just imagine the moron telling her drinking buddy that she had “told that bitch to back off”. Yeah, right! lol

Let this be a lesson… drunks should not only not drive… they also shouldn’t dial.

I was in the kid’s room day before last sitting on his bed, those of you who know how clumsy I am get ready for it…. he got up and ran off, my end of his bed hit the floor as the other end went up into the air. I landed on the floor hitting a metal folding chair as I went down.

It slammed into my right temple… talk about seeing stars. Didn’t pass out but it knocked me for a loop. Kid goes right into high panic so I tried to calm him down by telling him I was okay. I am okay. It’s a little swollen and sensitive to the touch but I’m okay. Had a headache for a couple of days but I woke up today feeling better.

So I made myself a rhubarb-strawberry cobbler (w/ice cream of course) for my birthday along with a dinner of fried chicken, potato salad, and corn on the cob. (I was bored so I cooked my own birthday dinner. lol)

NIce relaxing.. non-traumatic birthday.

My final internet activity today will be to remove my Gun Control layout. It gets old not being able to read text on my own layout. I’ll work on it later.
