Richard has family in Chattanooga and in Virginia and some of my family are in the Bluefield area of Virginia so we were watching the storm systems that went thru there. I’ve lived in Oklahoma for 40 freakin years and I’ve never seen what I saw yesterday. They were calling them “training supercells” on the weather forums. And just about every one of them had a hook on it. At some point last night I was watching the weather channel and must have nodded off. Joshua got in my lap and fell asleep too. lol
If it’s been this bad so far this year, the number of tornadoes, I’m not expecting to skip the action this year. I need to clean out some more closets and clear out that big closet completely just in case. We have a fan that sits on a stand. It’s huge and in the way in the walkin closet. I want to move it out of there so I don’t trip over it or something during an emergency. I also need to clear off a space on the shelf in there for my emergency bag. (I put my medications in there in a ziploc bag during storm season. Keeping a weeks worth out.) We also need to make a run to Radio Shack to see if we can get some flashlight bulbs for our lantern.
I just love tornado season. */sarcasm
