Yesterday Richard mentioned the term to me and I promptly forgot it while doing something else. Today he showed me some examples of it online. WOW! I always thought I was a little strange liking Vernian (Jules Verne) types of things. Movies, TV shows, etc. Now I find out I’m not the only one interested in those types of things.

The first thing he showed me was this gorgeous mod of a desktop computer. (Check out the other images on the page for more.) Then he showed me Datamancers Steampunk Laptop Mod. It has a working clockwork in the top. Both of these are beautiful examples of the style… leather, wood, brass, etc.

I think it’s cool the only thing is I’d die if I paid $800 for a keyboard and spilled something on it!

It’s been awhile. I’ve been sick and taking it easy for over a week. The diet is still going but no exercise. I don’t exercise really well when I’m dizzy. lol Feeling a bit better now and I’ll be starting back.. slooowwwllly. I did get my dining room table. I love it because it’s simple and not frou frou. Alright it’s not exactly shiny but it is to moi.
